What Our Mold Inspection Covers
A mold inspection from Springfield Quality Services is not a surface-level walkthrough. We inspect the entire structure from top to bottom, including areas that are easy to overlook: attics, crawl spaces, wall cavities, and anywhere moisture has had a chance to collect.
We combine visual inspection with air and surface sampling so our findings are documented and verifiable.
What We Do
- Full structure visual inspection using a flashlight and a blacklight
- Air sample collection using spore-trap cassettes
- Surface tape-lift sampling where visible growth is present
- Moisture readings of building materials
- Real-time mold spore concentration analysis using the InstaScope
- Identification of moisture sources driving mold conditions
Independent Lab Analysis
All air and surface samples are sent to an independent certified laboratory. We do not run our own lab. Our findings are impartial, and lab results are documented in your report without any conflict of interest.

The InstaScope Difference
We use the InstaScope to evaluate mold spore concentrations room by room during the inspection. This gives us immediate, on-site data so we can compare indoor conditions to outdoor baseline levels and identify where concentrations are elevated before we leave the property. Traditional air sampling requires lab turnaround of several days. InstaScope lets us act on real-time information during the assessment itself.
