Home Health Assessment
Home Health Assessment
A Home Health Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of your home’s indoor environment, focused on identifying conditions that may impact air quality, moisture balance, and overall occupant health.
This is not a basic mold inspection. It’s a full look at how your home is performing as a system.
What We Do
During the assessment, we evaluate the home using a combination of experience, building science, and advanced tools:
- Thorough visual inspection using a flashlight and a blacklight
- Thermal imaging to identify hidden moisture or anomalies
- Moisture readings of building materials
- Real-time air quality monitoring (TVOCs, CO, CO2)
- Airflow and pressure evaluation to determine if the home is properly balanced
- Real-time mold and particulate analysis using the InstaScope
We don’t just look for mold. We look for why conditions exist.
How We Think
Every home tells a story. Moisture, air movement, and building design all play a role in indoor air quality. We focus on identifying:
- Sources of moisture intrusion
- Areas where humidity is not being controlled
- Air pathways that may be bringing contaminants into the home
- Conditions that support mold growth, even if it's not visible
Sampling (When Needed)
Not every situation requires lab sampling. When it does, we offer:
- Spore-trap air sampling
- Surface tape-lift sampling
- Mycotoxin sampling
Sampling is used strategically to support what we’re seeing, not replace it.
What You Receive
Within approximately 72 hours, you will receive:
- A detailed Photo Book with clear images and commentary
- A Summary of Findings explaining what we found and why it matters
- A Remediation Work Plan (if needed) outlining clear next steps
Our Goal
To give you clear, honest answers about your home so you can make informed decisions. We don’t guess. We don’t oversell. We identify problems, explain them in plain terms, and show you how to fix them.
